The heart of Graceful Girls Tallow is our family's farm, Little Mountain Farm, nestled in Sherrills Ford, NC. Every jar of our lotion has a story that starts here, with our beef cattle. We've always believed in using every part of the animal to show respect and minimize waste. That's why we carefully render all the suet fat from our cows, transforming this precious resource into the pure, nourishing tallow that forms the base of our lotions. By using all of the suet fat from our animals, we create a truly unique "farm to skin" experience. It's a true labor of love from our family to yours, ensuring a product that is both wholesome and heartfelt.

Our Story - Made by Ava

The very first jar of Graceful Girls Tallow was inspired by a spunky six-year-old’s creative imagination. It was a normal afternoon in our kitchen when I was working with some tallow, and my daughter Ava walked in requesting to make a pink strawberry lotion for girls her age. Oh, and it had to have sparkles!

That small moment of inspiration blossomed into a full-fledged mission. We realized there was a gap in the market for skincare that was not only genuinely natural and gentle but also fun and appealing to young girls. From that day on, Ava and I began a journey to create something truly special.

Inspired by her idea, we developed a line of tallow lotions, adding delightful, kid-friendly scents and colors from natural sources, that are unlike anything else you’ll find. Each jar is handcrafted with the purest tallow from our family farm, proving that natural skincare can be both effective and a joy to use. Graceful Girls Tallow is more than a product—it's a mother-daughter dream come to life.

In naming our company, we turned to the two things that inspire us most: Ava and our faith. Graceful Girls Tallow is a tribute to Ava's middle name, Grace, and our guiding principle from Proverbs 31:25, which reminds us that a woman "is strong and graceful, as well as cheerful about the future." We hope our lotions inspire the same sense of strength and grace in every girl who uses them!
